At a sitting on Thursday, the Council of Ministers adopted a report approving Draft Amendment and Supplement No. 1 to the Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) BU-B-UCR Procurement of Ammunition for Stryker Vehicles. Proposing amendments and supplements to existing contracts under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program is standard practice for the US Government when adjustments to their content are required, the Government Information Service reported.
The proposed Amendment No. 1 reduces the contract value by USD 12,580,030 and provides for changes to its content (adjustment of time parameters, change in payment schedule, addition of clarifying text, and others), the press release specifies.
