Spa Hotel 103 Degrees in Sapareva Banya is planning to expand its wellness services and culinary offers, the hotel team told BTA. The plans also include developing experiences related to the natural environment in the area.

The hotel is part of Sapareva Banya’s development as a balneological and spa destination and contributes to attracting tourists and extending their stays, the team added.

The hotel’s name is linked to the 103°C mineral water, the hottest mineral spring in Europe and a symbol of the resort town. The mineral water is a key element in the spa procedures, with one of the hotel’s distinctive features being its proximity to the Sapareva Banya geyser.

The spa area includes a Finnish sauna, steam bath, hammam, salt room and relaxation zones, as well as body and facial therapies focused on recovery and detoxification.

The boutique spa hotel focuses on personalized experience and tranquility. The interior features a contemporary minimalist style inspired by Scandinavian design, combining functionality, clean lines and comfort. The concept is aimed at creating an environment for escape from the dynamics of urban life, close to the Rila Mountain.

Short-stay and weekend spa packages are the most sought-after, along with programmes for longer stays.

The team noted that service quality is maintained through trained staff and systematic collection of customer feedback.

BTA presents news from certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres in Bulgaria in its BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water feature. Their total number exceeds 200. The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to Europe's leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, which will be held from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena. BTA will be the event's main media partner.
