Ahmed Dogan, honorary Chair of the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms, visited Mineralni Bani and Asenovgrad, where he held meetings with party members and supporters, the Alliance’s press office announced on Wednesday. During his visits, he discussed with local party organizations the current political situation in the country and regions, the upcoming parliamentary elections, and the role of the Alliance in defending democratic principles and citizens’ rights.

Dogan heard the opinions and expectations of party supporters, emphasizing the importance of active participation and strong organizational mobilization on the eve of the vote.

"I have one request for the Haskovo organization, full mobilization for these very important elections," he said at the meeting in Mineralni Bani, Haskovo region, Southern Bulgaria.

"These elections are a battle for identity, a battle for the community," Dogan added.

In Asenovgrad, Plovdiv region, Southern Bulgaria, Dogan addressed the party supporters, highlighting the role of young people and women in the party. "I call for full mobilization. Young people have chosen a niche, you should keep digging there. I am also impressed by the women’s wing," he said.

In his remarks, Dogan made a political retrospective, noting: "We had a party, but unfortunately, we lost control of the processes within the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. People who had never been members took over the party."

According to him, despite the challenges, consolidation has been achieved and a new political project has been established, "Despite everything, we overcame this situation, established a new political entity in the form of the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms."

The meetings were met with keen interest and demonstrated a high degree of mobilization and readiness among local organizations for the upcoming elections.
