At his invitation, the US Chargé d’Affaires H. Martin McDowell met with representatives of the political leadership of There Is Such a People on Tuesday.

The two sides discussed a range of issues related to regional and global security; challenges linked to energy security, including the European Green Deal; freedom of speech; and political prospects and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides expressed confidence in a productive future partnership between Bulgaria and the US, based on mutual interest and respect for the aspirations and national security of both nations.
