BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Temenuzhka Petkova is the top-of-the-list candidate of GERB-UDF for Ruse's 19th and Targovishte's 28th multi-member constituencies, the Constituency Election Commissions in Ruse and Targovishte said.

The GERB press service in Ruse said Temenuzhka Petkova was born on 18 January 1967 in Sofia. She holds a master's degree in Accounting and Control from the University of National and World Economy. She completed training in Internal Audit in the Public Sector at the finance ministries of Ireland and the United Kingdom, and in State Financial Inspection at the Portuguese finance ministry.

Her professional path is linked to State financial control at the Ministry of Finance, where she successively held the posts of financial auditor, State internal auditor, department head, director of a directorate and director of the Agency for State Financial Inspection between 2010 and 2013. She was deputy minister of finance in the Bliznashki cabinet in 2014. Between November 2014 and May 2021 she was minister of energy in the governments of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. From 16 January 2025 to 18 February 2026 she was minister of finance in the Zhelyazkov cabinet.
