site.btaCC-DB Candidates for MPs Present in Silistra Protocol for Terminating Corruption

Bogomil Petkov, the top-of-the-list candidate on the Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition ticket in Silistra, met with residents of the city, the coalition’s campaign headquarters reported Friday. During the meeting, he presented the so-called Protocol for Eliminating Corruption, which is part of the political group’s platform.

Those present were briefed on measures to increase transparency in governance. These measures include legislative and administrative changes aimed at curbing abuses of power, introducing clear rules for public procurement, and strengthening independent institutional oversight.

The event was also attended by parliamentary candidates Radoslav Georgiev, Simona Velikova, and Petar Petrov, who answered questions and discussed with attendees specific solutions related to judicial reform, oversight of public funds, and the strengthening of institutional accountability.
