Delcheva outlined the institution’s key priorities, which focus on protecting the rights of vulnerable groups - children and the elderly - as well as consumer rights.
Uyanik noted that his professional experience includes work on issues related to the protection of human rights, which provides a solid foundation for constructive dialogue and the exchange of best practices between the institutions.
During the meeting, the good economic relations between Bulgaria and Turkiye were also discussed, as well as the active tourism exchange between the two countries. It was noted that every year many Bulgarian citizens choose Turkiye as their preferred tourist destination, and an increasing number of Turkish citizens are visiting Bulgaria, including for winter tourism.
