site.btaFour Construction Exhibitions Open at Inter Expo Center in Sofia
The exhibitions Architectural Building Week, ATEST Expo, Green Energy, and BIM Expo begin on Wednesday and will run until March 14 at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia, the exhibition center said. The official opening will take place at 1 pm.
Architectural Building Week is a national and regional business platform that attracts managers of construction companies and retail stores, architects, designers, investors, entrepreneurs, engineers, manufacturers, traders, distributors, consultants, real estate agents, urban planners, road infrastructure specialists, and designers.
ATEST Expo will occupy the outdoor areas of the Inter Expo Center. The exhibition, organized by the Association of Dealers of Construction Equipment, will feature leading companies in the sectors of construction, loading, quarrying, lifting, and transport machinery and mechanization.
Smart systems, automation, energy efficiency, and alternative powertrains will be among the special highlights of ATEST Expo.
Green Energy focuses on energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste management, recycling, and smart cities. The renewable energy sector is widely represented in all its segments – including systems, technologies, management, investments, and process optimization.
In the field of electromobility, participants will present vehicles from different classes, batteries, and charging stations.
At Green Energy, solutions for energy efficiency, passive buildings, heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, building management systems, and computer modeling will also be showcased.
Technologies and systems for waste management and recycling will be strongly represented as well, including trucks, loading and unloading systems, cranes, transfer stations, composting technologies and equipment, and local wastewater treatment facilities, among others.
The BIM technology (Building Information Modeling) as an integral element of the construction sector is at the core of BIM Expo. The joint format, organized by Inter Expo Center and bimdesign, will be held for the second time.
The accompanying program of the exhibitions includes a series of events, among them the conferences “Digital Future for Construction: Innovations, Technologies and Opportunities” and “Digitalization of Construction Documentation Management.”
On March 12, the ARCHINOVA Architecture Awards 2025 annual ceremony will take place in Hall 6.
On March 13, the Second Annual Awards of the Association of Professional Landscapers in Bulgaria will be held in Hall 5.
