site.btaSocial Ministry Submits Proposal for Granting Easter Allowances to Over 1.6 Mln Pensioners

The Council of Ministers will consider on Wednesday a proposal for a decision to grant Easter allowances to more than 1,600,000 pensioners on the occasion of the upcoming holidays, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy press service reported on Tuesday. Pensioners whose pension alone or whose total of pensions, supplements, and compensations is no higher than EUR 390.63, which is the poverty line in 2026, will receive an additional EUR 50.

Pensioners who receive between EUR 390.64 and EUR 620.20, will receive an additional EUR 20.

The proposal was submitted by the caretaker Minister of Labour and Social Policy Hasan Ademov in coordination with the Ministry of Finance.
