site.btaConference on Women’s Role in Societal Development to Be Held in Sofia

A conference titled “Shaping the Future: Women at the Helm” will take place in Sofia on Friday, on the occasion of the upcoming International Women’s Day, the organizers from the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce said. The forum is organized in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Bulgaria.

The conference will be held at Theatro starting at 10:00 am. Participating in the forum will be President Iliana Iotova, representatives of business, diplomacy, technology, defence, politics and academia. 

The panel discussions will address topics related to navigating crisis moments and the role of women as drivers of solutions, women on the front line in technology and defence, and leadership in the digital age.

The programme also includes an innovative interview created through artificial intelligence with Bulgarian scientist Elizaveta Karamihailova, to be conducted by Maria Chakarova, founder of The Face of Sofia association.
