site.btaPrevala and Troyan Mountain Passes Temporarily Closed Due to Heavy Snowfall
The Prevala and Troyan mountain passes are temporarily closed due to heavy snowfall, the press centre of the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said here on Thursday.
A total of 582 snow-clearing machines are treating road surfaces across the national road network. The roads remain passable under winter conditions, RIA added.
RIA urged drivers to set off in vehicles prepared for winter conditions, to drive at speeds appropriate to the winter weather, to avoid risky manoeuvres, and not to overtake snow-clearing equipment.
