After consultations with President Rumen Radev here on Thursday, ahead of the procedure to hand out mandates for forming a new government, Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (ARF) Floor Leader Hayri Sadakov told reporters that holding fair elections that guarantee everyone the opportunity to cast their vote and have it counted correctly is a top priority.
Sadakov shared that the consultations with Radev were productive and focused on ensuring the integrity of elections.
The ARF called on the President to seek national consensus on protecting the vote. Sadakov said: "Let us have a public discussion to seek public support for ensuring the integrity of the vote. We can all be useful in this regard. Every democratically minded person who wants Bulgaria to be democratic must help in their own way to ensure that we have fair elections."
