site.btaTraffic at Bulgarian-Turkish Border Is Extremely Heavy
Outbound freight traffic is extremely heavy at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border crossings, on the border with Turkiye, according to data by the General Directorate Border Police as of 6.00 am on Wednesday morning.
The Border Police warns that due to strike actions by Greek protesters, disruptions are possible for freight vehicles crossing through the border crossing with Greece.
The strike by Greek farmers has been going on for 14 days. On December 3, crossings through the Kulata–Promachonas border checkpoint were suspended.
At the border crossings with North Macedonia, Serbia, and Romania, traffic is normal, the Border Police added.
