At the end of November, there were 476,154,914 lev banknotes in circulation in Bulgaria, according to statistics from the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) published on its website. On an annual basis, their number decreased by nearly 21% (from 602,107,348 banknotes).

The banknotes most widely in circulation continue to be those with a denomination of BGN 50, 186,566,156 pieces, followed by BGN 100-banknotes with 115,632,181 pieces and BGN 20 banknotes with 74,948,995 pieces.

The total value of banknotes in circulation in leva amounted to BGN 23,222,700,500 at the end of November. Compared to November 2024, this represents a decrease of just over 22% (from BGN 29,914,392,940).
