“I do support this protest because with dialogue this budget would surely have looked much better. I do not believe in the mantra that this is the only possible budget,” Vice President Iliana Yotova told reporters on Wednesday.

According to Yotova, no budget has ever been adopted with such a lack of dialogue and arrogant behavior from the government, not only towards political opponents but also towards the business sector, social partners, trade unions, and civil society.

“The protest is a natural result,” she said.
