site.btaHealth Minister Issues Four Orders Related to Epidemic Emergency Extension until June 30
Sofia, June 12 (BTA) - Bulgarian Health Minister Kiril Ananiev 
has issued four orders, effective June 15, in connection with 
the extension of the COVID-19 epidemic emergency from June 15 to
 June 30, 2020, Ananiev's Ministry said in a press release on 
Friday evening.
One of the orders shortens the mandatory home isolation for 
persons diagnosed with COVID-19 after their discharge from 
hospital from 28 days so far to 14 days. The 28-day isolation 
prescribed before the entry into effect of this order will be 
revoked by order of the director of the competent regional 
health inspectorate after the lapse of a 14 -day mandatory 
isolation and upon one negative result of the patient's PCR 
test.
Under another order, all arrivals in Bulgaria from Sweden, the 
UK, Belgium, Portugal and The Netherlands, as well as from all 
third countries with the exception of Serbia, Bosnia and 
Herzegovina and Montenegro, will be quarantined for 14 days at 
home or in another accommodation. The exceptions to the 
quarantine requirement are detailed in the order. By the same 
order, the directors of regional health inspectorates are 
instructed to revoke the quarantine prescribed for arrivals from
 Spain, Malta and Italy   between June 2 and June 14, 2020.
All passengers and staff in public transport, customers and 
staff at pharmacies and visitors and staff at medical-treatment 
facilities will be required to wear a single-use or reusable 
protective face mask or another covering of the nose and mouth, 
including a kerchief, scarf, face shield, etc. Mask wearing is 
recommended in all other public places.
Visiting discotheques, piano bars, night clubs and other such 
will be prohibited between June 15 and June 30. Holding indoor 
group festivities attended by over 10 persons, including 
weddings, balls, christenings and other such, will also be 
prohibited during the same period. Under the same order, outdoor
 and indoor sports events may take place if the venue's total 
seating capacity is up to 50 per cent occupied and seating is 
rearranged to leave one seat empty on each side of a spectator 
or keep spectators at 1.5 m apart from one another. The same 50 
per cent seat occupancy rate requirement will apply to 
congresses, conferences, seminars and exhibitions, theatrical 
performances, concerts and other live stage events, dance, 
creative and music classes, and study halls operated by legal
