Sofia, September 10 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 468,300, after 24,399 tests identified 1,629 new infections on Friday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/.

The active cases are 36,577. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 4,500, including 378 in intensive care.

Another 1,268 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 412,336.

Fifty-two fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to 19,387.

With 11,918 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 2,391,930 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
