site.btaNearly 15,000 Balkan Trout Released Into Iskar River in Samokov
A traditional fish stocking of the Iskar River took place near Lago Park in Samokov on Friday. Students, Samokov Municipality employees, as well as members of the Hunting and Fishing Association released about 15,000 fish of the Balkan trout species into the Iskar River.
The supplier of the fish is from the village of Iskrets, while the initiative was organized jointly with the Hunting and Fishing Association, the Municipality said.
