site.bta11th International Young Scientists Conference Opens in Plovdiv

The 11th International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists was officially opened at the House of Scientists in Plovdiv on Friday.

The event was inaugurated by Deputy Mayor Plamen Panov, who highlighted the importance of young people for the city’s future and reaffirmed municipal support for the academic community.

The conference aims to provide a platform for early-career researchers to present their work, gain experience, and engage in academic discussion with Bulgarian and international scholars. This year’s edition is featuring 116 scientific papers across natural and technical sciences, medicine, and humanities and social sciences. 

The conference is organized by the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria - Plovdiv with support from the Young Scientists Club. It will take place until June 21 in a hybrid format, with on-site sessions in Plovdiv and online.
