site.bta Greek National Opera Ballet to Perform Future Cargo in Plovdiv from March 13 to 15
The Greek National Opera Ballet will perform Future Cargo from March 13 to 15 at various locations in Plovdiv, the organizers said on Wednesday. The performance on wheels will be performed outdoors and is a joint production of the Greek National Opera Ballet and The Place – London Contemporary Dance Centre.
A specially equipped truck with a 12-metre container, whose walls open up and turn into a stage, will bring a fantastic world of silvery humanoids who are trying to understand human behaviour to the city of Plovdiv, the organizers noted.
Residents and guests of Plovdiv will be able to watch four performances intended for audiences of all ages, with two performances taking place on March 13 on the square in front of the Boris Hristov House of Culture, one performance to be held on March 14 at the stands of the Rowing Base from the Plovdiv Stadium, and the final performance taking place on March 15 at the Roma Stadium in the Izgrev borough.
"With its mesmerizing choreography, lighting effects and surreal atmosphere, the performance will transport viewers to an alternative reality under the open sky," the organizers said.
