The 24th Ethno-Cultural Festival titled “Unity in Diversity” will take place in Taraclia on September 20, District Council said on Wednesday.

The event will open with a parade of the participants and an official ceremony, followed by performances on the main stage by ensembles from Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine.

The festival grounds will host a courtyard fair, a carpet exhibition, craft stalls, art displays, and a gastronomy zone with food court. The programme includes performances by the ensembles Chervena Kitka, Kadandzha, Enigma Romilor, the cover band South Side Band, and artists Marej and Satoshi.

The event is organized by the Taraclia District Council in partnership with the Moldovan Culture Ministry, the Agency for Interethnic Relations and the EU Delegation to Moldova, the organizers said.
