A business forum, on the topic “Programme for reforms and support for entrepreneurs in the context of Moldova's European integration”, was held In the Taraclia region of Moldova, where the population is predominantly Bulgarian.
The event was attended by Moldovan Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor, Director of the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship (ODE) Vadim Codreanu, Executive Director of the European Business Association (EBA Moldova) Mariana Rufa, as well as entrepreneurs from the Taraclia region and the autonomous territory of Gagauzia.
This was Minister Doina Nistor's first visit to Taraclia, where she discussed key issues related to reforms and upcoming opportunities on the path to European Union membership with local businesses.
According to information from the local administration, during the meeting participants received up-to-date information on legislative changes that will have a direct impact on business development in the regions, as well as on new opportunities arising from European integration.
Entrepreneurs were informed about existing state support programmes, including tax breaks, subsidies, and access to grant funding.
The ODE team presented specific proposals for funding and grants aimed at stimulating the local economy.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for dialogue between business and the authorities, with entrepreneurs asking questions, presenting problems, and proposing solutions directly to representatives of the ministry and the ODA.
New prospects opening up for Moldovan enterprises with the progress of European integration were also discussed, including access to new markets, the introduction of international standards, and the strengthening of cross-border partnerships.
