Innsbruck-based folk dance ensemble SamoDivi will take part in the 11th edition of the traveling festival Expats Join Hands in Worldwide Dance, set to take place at Munich's BMW Park from May 15 to 17.

At their third consecutive appearance, SamoDivi will present the Zaludo Libe Kitka ne Davay dance, conveying their energy, "that sincere, vibrant emotion we carry within us, which brings us together no matter where we are".

The ensemble's team said preparations are progressing with great enthusiasm and dedication, they rehearse twice a week, work on details and prepare their costumes.

SamoDivi is a small but very close-knit ensemble, featuring dancers from all generations.

For the performers, folklore is not just dance but a bond, a home and a way to stay together, wherever they may be in the world.

"We will be delighted to share this emotion on stage in Munich," the SamoDivi team said.

The travelling festival Expats Join Hands in Worldwide Dance is organized by and for amateur folklore ensembles performing outside Bulgaria. The initiative was launched by the Ot Izvora group in Lyon, France, which hosted both the first edition in 2015 and the tenth edition in 2025. More than 100 dance ensembles and over 4,000 guests are expected at the 11th edition in Munich in May. The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) is the official media partner of the event and will present all participants.
