site.bta"Tourism Is Not Just Statistics but Emotion and Message"- Sts. Constantine and Helena CEO
"Tourism is not only about statistics, accommodation capacity and occupancy rates but also about emotion and conveying a message," Sts. Constantine and Helena Holding Executive Director Elena Koseva said here on Monday. She was addressing a forum on "Bulgarian Tourism – Summer 2026", organized by the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and held at the Sts. Constantine and Helena Resort (on the Black Sea).
Koseva described Sts. Constantine and Helena as Bulgaria's first Black Sea resort and a place with history, tradition and a vision for the future. "We aspire to make Sts. Constantine and Helena a symbol of the balance between nature, health, tranquility, and a modern tourist environment," she said.
The CEO stressed that the company's mission is "to preserve the spirit of the destination while at the same time meeting holidaymakers' modern expectations".
She noted that in recent years the tourism sector has faced circumstances that have changed both the way people travel and the way tourists are welcomed. In her words, these challenges require businesses, institutions and the media to join efforts in building and strengthening Bulgaria's image as a tourist destination in the world.
"Tourism is not only statistics, accommodation capacity and occupancy. Tourism is emotion and a message, and it is precisely the media that can convey these emotions and this message to millions of people," Koseva added.
