Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort welcomes more than 6,000 guests each season, mainly from Western Europe, the resort told BTA.

The Black Sea complex near Cape Kaliakra is included in the Michelin Guide Hotel Selection and offers a championship golf course, accommodation, direct access to two beaches and a wellness centre.

Most visitors come from Germany, the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy and the Netherlands, as well as from Bulgaria, Romania and other European Union Member States and third countries, the resort added.

The resort offers a championship golf course, accommodation, direct access to two beaches, restaurants, outdoor pools and watersports, together with unspoilt nature, clean air and a favourable seaside climate. In that setting, the Thracian Cliffs wellness centre works as a complementary service to the main tourism product and provides structured options for recovery, relaxation and maintaining physical condition, the resort said.

The wellness centre is designed in Moroccan style, inspired by Berber architecture. Its concept combines oriental practices with dermocosmetic and device-based therapies, including hammam rituals, massages, exfoliating procedures, facial and body therapies, and radiofrequency and ultrasound treatments.

The wellness area includes a hammam, steam bath, infrared sauna, ice zone, jacuzzi, contrast shower, indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, a panoramic fitness area, and treatment rooms for massages and aesthetic and dermatology-focused procedures.

The centre uses professional dermocosmetic brands such as Biologique Recherche and Medik8 from the clinical skincare segment. Facial therapies focus on cleansing, hydration, restoring the skin barrier, and improving tone and texture, the resort said.

It also uses established protocols such as HydraFacial, as well as specialized therapies aimed at maintaining good skin condition and preventing sun-related skin ageing. The approach is individual and includes adapting each therapy to the client’s condition and needs.

Classic, relaxing and restorative massages are available, along with body rituals. The centre uses Charme d’Orient cosmetics based on natural oils and aromatic blends, including black tea, dates, figs and orange blossom.

BTA presents news from certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres in Bulgaria in its BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water feature. Their total number exceeds 200. The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to Europe's leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, which will be held from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena. BTA will be the event's main media partner.
