site.btaBrentas SPA Resort Reports Average Annual Occupancy of Some 19,000 Guests

Brentas SPA Resort in Tsigov Chark offers facilities for tourism and relaxation, combining modern comfort with the natural environment of the Rhodope Mountains. Spa centre with a variety of services is available to guests, Maya Uteva from the hotel’s marketing department told BTA.

Services include a relaxation pool, a classic sauna, an infrared sauna, an aroma sauna, a steam bath, and a salt room. The spa area also features a jacuzzi, two hammams, two massage rooms, and a separate relaxation area. Heated loungers, a water relaxation area, and a Turkish bath are also available. The resort includes an indoor and an outdoor pool.

The hotel was built using natural materials such as wood, stone, and leather to shape an interior inspired by the surrounding forest environment. The complex is located at a 1,000 metres altitude in the Tsigov Chark resort, near the Batak Reservoir. The area offers opportunities for hiking, fishing, water sports, as well as a relaxing getaway from the city.

The outdoor spaces, including the garden and terraces, offer panoramic views of the mountains.

According to the resort’s data, it reports an average annual occupancy of approximately 19,000 guests.

BTA presents news from certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres in Bulgaria in its BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water feature. Their total number exceeds 200. The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to Europe's leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, which will be held from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena. BTA will be the event's main media partner.
