Tetyana Bolgarova's exhibition Stone embroideries from Nova Kakhovka on textiles was unveiled in Sofia on Thursday. Sofianites can see three-dimensional textile panels, copies of "stone embroideries", in Sredets Gallery by September 1.

The exhibition, which commemorates the 32nd anniversary of Ukraine's Independence Day, was attended by Minister of Culture Krastyu Krastev, who noted that Ukraine's cultural heritage must be saved.

The Minister said: "Ever since this barbaric attack on Ukraine by the Russian side began, the invaders have been destroying Ukraine's historical cultural heritage every day. I, being the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria and a person directly involved with culture throughout my life, strongly condemn these barbaric and inhuman actions on the Russian side".

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria, Olesya Ilashchuk, expressed her gratitude to the Bulgarian people for the support and help since the war started. She also extended gratitude to Krastev and his Ministry for making this exhibition possible.

Bolgarova was forced to escape from Russian invaders twice before she settled in Bulgaria.
