Establishing peace in Europe requires military and technical assistance to Ukraine, Ukraine's Ambassador to Bulgaria Olesya Uluschuk said at a forum at the Central Military Club in Sofia on Friday. The event, organized by the Association of the Officers in the Reserve Atlantic, was dedicated to the lessons learned from the war in Ukraine: to prepare and modernize the Bulgarian armed forces.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Bulgarian Parliament for its decision to provide military and technical assistance to Ukraine. She said that the help from friends and allies is the source of hope and strength for her country in its fight for justice and the right to be a sovereign state.

Uluschuk stated that pushing Russia out of Ukraine can only be done by securing military-technical assistance from Europe and stopping Iran's aid to Russia. Support is needed for the Ukrainian peace plan and for Ukraine's membership in NATO, said the Ambassador.
