site.btaGERB Leader Borissov Meets with Ukraine Deputy Defence Minister

In a Facebook post GERB leader Boyko Borissov said that he met with Ukraine’s Deputy Defence Minister Denys Sharapov and Ukrainian Ambassador here Olesya Uluschuk.

During the talks the sides discussed ways to continue military support and bilateral economic cooperation. The agenda focused on ways to remove intermediaries in defence supplies for the Ukrainian armed forces.

„For me it is a great honour to receive an honorary badge of Ukraine’s Defence Ministry for my personal contribution and that of GERB in providing aid to the fight of the Ukrainian people against the Russian aggressor. I accepted the honorary badge from Deputy Defence Minister Sharapov and Ambassador Uluschuk. The two expressed their gratitude and that of Ukraine for the constant support that GERB and I provide to Ukraine in the fight for its independence,” Borissov wrote.
