Swallow The Sun will perform at Joy Station Club in Sofia on March 25, 2026, the organizers from Sofia Music Enterprises (SME) said on Monday. The Finnish death-doom metal band returns to Bulgaria ten years after their first visit.

Founded in 2000, the band has released nine full-length albums, one EP, and one live album over more than two decades. During this time, Swallow The Sun has established itself as one of the most beautifully melancholic metal bands, consistently holding top positions in Finland’s music charts and even winning a Finnish “Grammy”, according to SME.

On music streaming platforms, the band has over 50 million streams on Spotify and more than 10 million views on YouTube. They have performed in over 900 concerts across four continents.
