Writer Krasimir Dimovski received the 13 Centuries of Bulgaria Bulgarian Novel of the Year national literary award. He was honoured for his novel Theseus in His Labyrinth. The Diary of a P. His name was announced at a ceremony at the Sofia City Art Gallery on Monday.

The book was picked among six novels shortlisted for the award.

The competition was open to 33 novels published in 2024. The jury, chaired by literary scholar Vladimir Zarev, and with members Valeri Stefanov, Zdravka Evtimova, Ani Burova and Maurice Fadel, determined the six nominated works and their authors. These were You, My Likeness by Radoslav Bimbalov, Death and the Gardener by Georgi Gospodinov, Theseus in His Labyrinth. The Diary of a P. by Krasimir Dimovski, Tangerines at Marienplatz by Tea Moneva, Side Lighting by Yuriy Rahnev, Murder on Stamboliyski Boulevard by Chavdar Tsenov.
