site.btaMPs Pass Amendments to Statistics Act Introducing Centralized Reporting System for Enterprises

On Thursday, Parliament adopted at second reading a bill amending and supplementing the Statistics Act, introducing a single entry point for the submission of annual financial reports by enterprises.

The bill was tabled by MPs Delyan Dobrev and Nikolay Nankov of the GERB-UDF parliamentary group. 

Under the adopted provisions, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) will develop and maintain an information system serving as a unified entry point for the submission of annual activity reports. These reports will include statistical data, accounting documents, and annual financial statements required by the NSI, the National Revenue Agency, and the Registry Agency.
