"25 Years of Endless Transition"


Sofia, December 9 (BTA) - An exhibition entitled "25 Years of
Endless Transition" presents Bulgaria's history of the last 25
years in cartoons. It opens at 6 pm on December 11 at the Museum
of Socialist Art.

The exhibition features 146 cartoons by 24 artists. They have
been published and many originals bear marks of editing,
instructions to the printing house and additions. They give a
true picture of the transition period.

Most cartoons were published in the "Sturshel" humour and satire
newspaper. Many were published in the national dailies "24
Chassa", "Troud", "Pressa", "Novinar" and "Monitor", among
others.

The cartoons have been selected from the artists' archives and
the library of the "Sturshel". PK/DD
