One of the areas of interaction is the production of green hydrogen. "Bulgaria has all the prerequisites to become a regional leader in the production of green hydrogen," Bogdanov pointed out.

"A lot of time has passed since the previous one and the time has come to discuss future priority sectors for interaction," Bogdanov noted. A business forum with the participation of representatives of companies from both countries is also planned within the framework of the commission.

The meeting also discussed opportunities for increasing trade between the countries, as well as areas of mutual interest such as the development of transport infrastructure and diversification of energy supplies. Minister Bogdanov pointed out that Bulgaria is one of the largest producers of copper raw materials and underlined the country's aim to participate in the production of modules for electric vehicles. He also presented the newest industrial zone in the country - in Dobroslavtsi, which will be the first one in the country dedicated to the automotive sector.
