The conditions for tourism in the mountains are good, but the weather is expected to deteriorate, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) reported to BTA.

Before noon, the weather will be calm, with scattered clouds and positive temperatures. In the southern parts of Pirin and the Rhodopes, snow and rain are expected in the afternoon.

Mountain rescuers remind hikers to follow signs and trails, leave early in the morning, and use daylight when hiking in the mountains and have charged phones.
There have been no incidents with tourists in the last 24 hours.
