Bulgarian artist Petar Davidkov-Pepin presented solo exhibition at the Bulgarka Culture Centre in Chicago on Saturday. The exhibition is entitled Harmonic Contradictions.
Davidkov moved to Chicago, Illinois, in 2016. He worked as a makeup artist and stylist for many years. He has presented two solo exhibitions in Bulgaria - "2014" and "Intonations".
He is inspired by impressionism, post-impressionism, modernism and naïve art. In 2019, he presents his third solo exhibition called "Red and Blue", which is his first presentation in the United States, the Magura Cultural Center said.
