A drone attack in the early hours of Sunday caused damage to an administrative building in the Ukrainian province of Odesa, Odesa Province Governor Oleh Kiper said. The defence forces managed to take down 20 drones, the fragments of one damaging the building.

Fragments of a downed drone fell in a backyard in a residential borough, he also said. No one was injured.

During the night, four air raid alerts were issued in the province.

Odesa Province is home to the third largest community of expatriate Bulgarians, numbering more than 150,000 people, according to an official population census in Ukraine in 2001. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the provincial capital, Odesa. Bulgarians in the province are concentrated in the districts of Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
