Two Bulgarian restaurants received recognition from one of the most prestigious wine magazines in the world, Wine Spectator

After five consecutive years with the Award of Excellence, the wine list of the restaurant "aEstivum" in the family estate "Zornitsa" was awarded with the higher distinction - Best of Award of Excellence, announced the restaurant which is in the Melnik area.

The distinctive sign with which the winners of the Award of Excellence are decorated is a wine glass. This year for the first time the wine selection of "aEstivum" received a plaque with two wine glasses together with the Best of Award of Excellence.

The higher accolade is awarded to restaurants where the wine list is extremely professional and varied and the presentation of the wines is impeccable. The two glasses go where there are at least 350 labels of wine that attract the interest of serious wine lovers from around the world.

The wine list of "aEstivum" includes regional wines from the typical varieties of the Melnik region as well as emblematic labels from Bulgaria, Europe and the world.

The restaurant "Ahora" in Sofia was also awarded with the Award of Excellence. The menu is created entirely by the winner of the second season of "Master Chef" Sevda Dimitrova, relying mainly on Bulgarian producers and is tailored to seasonal products.
