site.btaChiprovtsi to Host International Music Festival July 28 to August 2

An international music festival will be held in Chiprovtsi from July 28 to August 2, Mayor Plamen Petkov said on Thursday. The fesitval programme will include an evening of Bulgarian folk music, European dance music and jazz.

The programme includes numerous performers from Bulgaria and abroad.

A five-day worksh will take place as part of the festival. There will be separate lectures and training on handling various musical instruments, voice modeling and Balkan music styles.

The festival is organized by the Kopanica non-governmental organization, in cooperation with Chiprovtsi Municipality and the Chiprovtsi History Museum.
