Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Co-leader Delyan Peevski told journalists in Parliament on Tuesday that "it is clear that snap parliamentary elections are coming up". "Everything else that is happening is a farce and an anguish", he added. He called for politicians to preserve their dignity and see how much confidence Bulgarian society has in them.

Peevski said that he is ruling out success with the third government-forming mandate, which his party might be getting, endorsing GERB leader Boyko Borissov's position that government formation with the second mandate, which would be going to Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), will not happen. Peevski said that MRF was standing aside from the negotiations between CC-DB and GERB-UDF, but "evidently, they did not get along".

According to Peevski, CC-DB has exhausted all possibilities to not go to early elections. He said that the coalition had gone "over the top with their demands, which are disproportionate to their weight in Parliament". Peevski reiterated that in case CC-DB and GERB-UDF were getting along his party had promised support for Bulgaria to not fall into the "timelessness of snap elections".
