Bulgarian judoka Ivo Galenkov won the men's 50 kg event at the Follonica Cadet European Cup 2024. He triumphed after five wins, and in the finals defeated France's Axel Cuq. 

This is Galenkov's first title from a competition of this rank and a second medal after the bronze in Slovenia last year.

Bulgaria is represented by ten judokas at the Follonica Cadet European Cup. Competing in Italy are 461 representatives of 27 countries.
