BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party for all constituencies for the June 9 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective party/coalition, the candidates themselves and other official sources of information.

A total of 31 candidates’ lists of 21 parties and 10 coalitions have been registered by the Haskovo Constituency Election Commission.

The order follows the sequential numbers on the ballots, as drawn by the Central Election Commission:

  1. There Is Such a People: Aleksandar Markov. Born 1962. Graduated from the National Military University in Veliko Tarnovo and earned second master's degree at the Svishtov Economic Academy. MP in 45th and 46th National Assemblies;
  2. Glas Naroden [People's Voice] Party: Bozhidar Kolev. Born 1968. Has served as prosecutor and then lawyer with the Sofia Bar Association;
  3. Blue Bulgaria Coalition  (9 parties: Conservative Alliance of the Right (KOD); Bulgarian Democratic Forum; Democratic Action Movement; National Movement for Stability and Upsurge; Bulgaria of the Citizens Movement; Conservative Bulgaria Party; Radical Democratic Party in Bulgaria; Bulgarian New Democracy Party; Agrarian People's Union): Petar Moskov. Born 1970. Graduated in medicine in Sofia and specialized in France, the UK, Spain and the US. Formerly a ranking member of Democrats for Strong Bulgaria. Former health minister. Former member of Parliament. 
  4. We the Citizens Coalition (3 parties: Bulgarian Spring; Competence, Responsibility and Truth (KOI); Bulgarian Workers'-Peasants' Party): Dimitar Dimitrov. Born in 1991 in Harmanli. Graduated with a degree in sport education from the Veliko Tarnovo University. Coach and sports teacher;
  5. No registered list of candidates;
  6. Bulgarian Voice Party: Rosen Dimitrov (aged 43). Holds a master's degree in business software from the University of Insurance and Finance and another one in finance from the Economic Institute with the Bulgarian Academy of Science. Experience in banking and sales;
  7. Rose Coalition (3 parties: Bulgarian Social Democracy - EuroLeft; United Labour Bloc Bulgarian Labourists; Rodolyubie 2000): Aleksandar Garibov;
  8. Centre Coalition  (2 parties: Svoboda [Freedom]; Bulgarian Agrarian Party): Rumen Rachev. Born in 1981. Earned a degree in kinesiotherapy from National Sports Academy Vassil Levski;
  9. Bulgarian Solidarity Coalition: Vladimir Valkov;
  10. Edinenie [Unity] Party: Yani Andreev. Bachelor's degree in history, master's degree in winemaking technology. Runs a small family farm. Winner of the third season of The Farm reality show;
  11. Bulgarian National Alliance (BNO) Party: Stefan Stalev. Born 1969. Graduated in law from New Bulgarian University in Sofia. Member of the Sofia Bar Association. Has been the party's top-of-the-list candidate in Haskovo for several elections now;
  12. Vazrazhdane Party: Georgi Georgiev. Born in 1979. Graduated from the University of Chemical Technology in Sofia. MP in the 47th, 48th and 49th National Assemblies;
  13. Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh) Party: Ventsislav Petkov;
  14. Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria Coalition (4 parties: Continue the Change; VOLT; Democrats for Strong Bulgaria; Yes, Bulgaria Movement): Assen Vassilev. Born in 1977 in Haskovo. Graduated from Harvard with a degree in economics, later specializing in business administration and law at the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Law School. Served as caretaker minister of economy, energy and tourism from March to May 2013; caretaker minister of finance in May-September 2021; finance minister in the government of Kiril Petkov and of Nikolay Denkov; 
  15. The Truth and Nothing but the Truth People's Party: Anton Zhelyazkov. Born in 1990 in Haskovo. Graduated from the Haskovo Vocational School of Agriculture. Currently employed in a private company;
  16. Bulgarian Rise Party: Tihomir Georgiev. Born 1971. Master’s degree in surveying engineering and a master's degree in business management and administration. With own design company;
  17. Civic Bloc Coalition (Radicals Bulgarian Democratic Union, Bulgarian Women's Party): Adrian Prodanov;
  18. Society for New Bulgaria Party: Milen Ikonomov;
  19. The Left! Coalition (ABV (Alternative for Bulgarian Revival), Movement 21, Green Party, Alexander Stamboliiski Agrarian Party, National Movement for Salvation of the Fatherland, Social Democrats Political Movement): Paskal Zhelyazkov. Born in 1956. Professor of veterinary medicine. Has served as deputy director of the National Veterinary Medicine Service and director general of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency;
  20. Party of the Greens: Teodora Simova;
  21. Here We Come Party: Valentina Vasileva-Faladelfevs. Born in 1975. Graduated in piano from the Bulgarian National Music Academy. Elected MP in the 45th National Assembly;
  22. GERB-UDF Coalition (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) and Union of Democratic Forces (UDF)): Delian Dobrev. Born in 1978 in Haskovo. Holds degrees in economics from the US and Sofia. MP since 2009. Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Energy;
  23. Bulgarian National Union New Democracy Party: Ivan Karakolev;
  24. BSP for Bulgaria Coalition (Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP); Ecoglasnost Political Club; Trakia Political Club): Atanas Zafirov. Born 1971 in Burgas. Holds three master's degrees from two universities (the Sofia Defence College and the Veliko Tarnovo University). Deputy Chair of BSP for Bulgaria. MP in the 42nd, 43rd, 45th, 46th, 47th, 48th and 49th National Assemblies. Has served as delegate to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly for three terms. Heads the Board of the Bulgarian Rugby Federation;
  25. Velichie [Grandeur] Party: Kostadin Vradzhaliev. Born in 1975. Photographer. Public Administration and Political Science degrees from Varna Free University;
  26. VMRO-Bulgarian National Movement Party: Aleksandar Sidi. Born in 1981 in Stara Zagora. Has degree in law from the Veliko Tarnovo University. Deputy chair of his party. MP in the 44th National Assembly;
  27. Direct Democracy Party: Margarit Karaburov;
  28. Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Party: Stanislav Anastasov. Born 1983. Bachelor of business management from Sofia University and Master of political management from New Bulgarian University. Former minister of environment and water in 2014. MP in five National Assemblies;
  29. Green Movement Party: Ognyan Hristonev;
  30. Party for Great Bulgaria: Andon Filipov. Born 1977. Works at the Maritsa East TPP;
  31. Bulgarian Union for Direct Democracy (BSDD): Misho Yanev;
  32. Neutral Bulgaria Coalition (4 parties: Communist Party of Bulgaria; Bulgarian Communist Party; Party of Bulgarian Communists; Russophiles for the Revival of the Fatherland): Atanas Panchev.
