Innovation and Growth Ministry Agrees to Cooperate with Poland to Promote Electric Mobility

Innovation and Growth Minister Milena Stoycheva and Polish Ambassador to Bulgaria Maciej Szymanski have agreed to deepen cooperation between experts from both countries on the development of a bill to promote electric mobility, the Innovation and Growth Ministry said in a statement published on its website on the occasion of the meeting between the two on Tuesday.

Stoycheva and Szymanski discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of innovation and the development of startup ecosystems in the two countries. Both confirmed that they will work to strengthen the partnership between Bulgaria and Poland to improve the position of Central and Eastern Europe in the field of innovation.

Bulgaria's ambition is to build a new image of the country as a good place for entrepreneurs to innovate and attract high added value investments through programmes to support the development and implementation of innovation in Bulgarian companies, Stoycheva said, presenting the main priorities of her Ministry. The two officials also discussed the development of policies in the education and culture sectors to promote the economic development of Poland and Bulgaria.

The two countries' participation in the Three Seas Initiative and investment in regional connectivity were also discussed.
