There Is Such a People (TISP) Floor Leader Toshko Yordanov told journalists on his way out of the presidency building on Thursday that the responsibility for this caretaker government, whatever it may be and whichever Prime Minister is elected, rests with the governing “assemblage" [a word that has become a household name for an informal power-sharing scheme between CC-DB and GERB-UDF].

Earlier, TISP accepted and immediately returned to President Rumen Radev the unfulfilled third exploratory mandate to form a government.

Yordanov added that the responsibility for the future cabinet rests mostly with Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), "who participated in this process, approved the names that should be given, approved the way offices are elected". Whatever happens is their fault, he insisted. According to him, GERD concluded a deal with CC-DB and let their lawyers lead the process of changes. "Hristo Ivanov practically chose a caretaker cabinet for GERB", Yordanov argued. “We warned them about that,” he added.

“In the next Parliament, we will seek a constitutional majority to fix the Constitution,” Yordanov noted.

When asked what kind of election TISP prefer, the MP admitted that a "2 in 1" vote is a better option from the point of view of financial burden and voter turnout.
