EU Needs European Deal to Boost Competitiveness, SGI Europe Vice-President Angelova Says

Addressing a high-level conference in Madrid on Europe Day, Milena Angelova, Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) Secretary General and Vice-President of SGI Europe (European association representing enterprises which carry out services of general interest), said that Europe needs a strategy to promote competitiveness as it is steadily losing ground in the new geopolitical environment. The conference was attended by labour and social policy ministers from Spain, Poland, Slovakia and by European Economic and Social Committee President Oliver Roepke, BICA said on Thursday.

Azerbaijan Can Supply Additional Nat Gas Quantities to Bulgaria

Azerbaijan can supply additional quantities of natural gas to Bulgaria and the region, it transpired at a meeting between Bulgarian caretaker Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov and representatives of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), the Bulgarian Energy Ministry said on Wednesday. Malinov is part of a delegation to Baku led by President Rumen Radev. The Bulgarian side is visiting Azerbaijan at the invitation of Radev’s counterpart Ilham Aliyev.

Former Romanian Prime Minister Nastase on Romanian-Bulgarian Relations

A book by former Romanian prime minister Adrian Nastase on Romanian-Bulgarian relations was presented in Bucharest on Wednesday. Among the special guests at the event were Bulgaria's Ambassador to Romania Radko Vlaykov and Nikolay Vassilev, an economist and former deputy prime minister of Bulgaria, the diplomatic mission of Bulgaria in the Romanian capital told BTA.
