Nearly 94% of Bulgarians are worried about rising energy prices according to data from a nationally representative survey by the Market Links polling agency. The study was presented during a joint forum of Habitat Bulgaria and the environmental association Za Zemiata [For the Earth], dedicated to the role of domestic renewable energy sources in the fight against energy poverty as part of the #Plan4Climate project, co-financed by the LIFE program of the European Union.
Eurostat Bulgaria Records Lowest Unemployment Rate in EU in April 2026
Bulgaria recorded the lowest unemployment rate among EU Member States and the eurozone in April 2026, according to the latest seasonally adjusted Eurostat data released on Monday. Unemployment in Bulgaria stood at 2.8%, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous month.
