Wild Camping Is A Problem For Northern Black Sea Coast, Says Caretaker Tourism Minister
Caretaker Tourism Minister Evtim Miloshev noted on Friday in Varna that wild camping is one of the big problems for the Northern Black Sea Coast. Parliament Adopts Legislative Changes to Streamline Process of Hiring Third-country Nationals for Seasonal Work
Parliament adopted at first and second reading on Thursday changes to the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act which optimize the process of hiring citizens of third countries for the purposes of seasonal work. The bill was introduced by Manoil Manev and Temenuzhka Petkova from GERB-UDF.
Caretaker PM: Government Grants BGN 250 Mln to Maritsa Iztok Mines
This morning the caretaker Government granted BGN 250 million a year to Maritsa Iztok Mines EAD. An additional BGN 50 million will be provided in the short term in line with a resolution adopted today by the National Assembly. This became clear after the meeting of caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and caretaker Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov with representatives of protesting miners and energy workers, the Cabinet press office said on Thursday.
President Radev Meets with Trade Union Representatives
President Rumen Radev met Thursday with representatives of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions and the Podkrepa Confederation of Labour regarding their requests to postpone the liberalization of the electricity market and to protect those working in the energy and coal mining sectors.
