Innovative projects in design, architecture, fashion and the performing arts will be presented from April 9 to 13 in Jubelpark and in the halls of the Museum of Art and History in the Belgian capital. This year's edition of the festival, born around the European Commission's New European Bauhaus initiative, can also be followed online. BTA is a media partner of the event.
A concert and choreographic performance by the youth organisation One Star, One Destiny is expected to open the festival on the stage of the Museum of Arts and History. The ceremony will be attended by President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Bulgarian Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Iliana Ivanova, Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms Elisa Ferreira, and Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.
The Bulgarian finalist is the Concrete to Culture project of the Collective Foundation, which was among the winners of last year's edition of the New European Bauhaus Awards.
