site.btaStefan Tafrov Tops Yes, Bulgaria's List of Candidates for June 9 European Elections

Diplomat Stefan Tafrov has won the internal party election of Yes, Bulgaria which determined the order of candidates for the European Parliament elections on June 9, the party said in a press release on Friday.

For three days in a row, party members voted via an electronic application and by mail for their preferred candidates.

Yes, Bulgaria is part of the Democratic Bulgaria right-wing coalition together with Democrats for Strong Bulgaria and Green Movement. Established in April 2018, Democratic Bulgaria is now part of the Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria parliamentary group, which is the second biggest group in the National Assembly and part of the former ruling majority together with GERB-UDF.

*The Green Movement party has left the CC-DB coalition for the June 9 two-in-one elections
