A drone attack in Odesa in the early hours of Tuesday left nine people injured, including four children, said Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa regional military administration. A total of 34 people have been saved. No one was killed in the attack, according to preliminary information. 

Earlier, it was reported that seven people were injured, including two children.

According to Kipper, debris from a destroyed drone damaged residential buildings and cause a fire at the site of the falling debris.

All competent services are working on the ground and providing assistance to the injured.

At least 14 flats have been damaged, Odesa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov said.

Odesa Province is home to the third largest community of expatriate Bulgarians, numbering more than 150,000 people, according to an official population census in Ukraine in 2001. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the provincial capital Odesa. Bulgarians in the province are concentrated in the districts of Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
